The quote above is such a powerful quote. As individuals, we must have something inside of us that is willing to shine regardless of the circumstances. When it's light, a bright light can still be seen. When it's dark, a bright light can be a glimmer of hope, a compass, and an open door.
I am called, not only to effectively strategize for organizations to improve, but to provide relevant and empowering services to individuals, that will INSPIRE the individual. Can you imagine how powerful an organization, a ministry, a school, a company, a group, and an institution would be when the individuals that make up the organization become inspired?
There can be a fact lost in the day-to-day details of business and operations. In the middle of statistics, meetings, agendas, reports, event planning, errands, phone calls, emails, technology, and on and on... the most important part of what we are called to do is to serve people! That's what this website is about.
So what do we do for individuals?
We want to INSPIRE, EMPOWER, TRAIN, ENCOURAGE, MENTOR, and PROVIDE EXPOSURE.
Young Minister's Network - "We're taking care of 21st-Century Timothys"
Here's a network and connection for ministers who have been bold enough to step into their divine assignment at a young age. Although open to all ages, the target audience are ages 9-17. It is this age group that greatly impacts the stability of the church for the better part of the 21st Century. Where do they go for questions and to get answers? What about those questions that they feel a little uncomfortable asking their Pastor or members at home? This network will provide the encouragement, mentorship, and exposure that is needed for young ministers, male and female, to get wisdom and understanding, direction and insight. But most of all, relationships with like minded people. More than about me, this network will help connect young ministers to one another. They will have an opportunity to share together, dialogue, encourage one another, speak to one another, and maybe even visit one another. Mentorship refers to a developmental relationship between a more experienced person to help a less experienced person, referred to as a protégé, apprentice, mentee, or (person) being mentored, develop in a specified capacity. Now, after serving in youth ministry for almost a decade, in an urban setting, along with serving as General Overseer of Children & Youth for an international ministry organization, there are some experiences and wisdom that I want to pass along. I will be the first to say that I have not experienced it all, nor do I have the answers to everything. But, I can't deny the spiritual gift of wisdom that God has endowed me with. Part of that is from great training and exposure that I've been privileged to receive. In structured and unstructured formats, both informal and formal relationships can be developed to help make ministry better and more effective. We also want to pair each young person that desires a one-on-one connection with a caring mentor, in which a structured mentor program will take place. This 13-week mentorship program is designed to develop leadership, character, moral competence, and a life plan for each individual.If you are interested in being a MENTOR, go here.
